Kim graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University in May 2009 with a BA in Music. She continued her educational adventures at ASU and received a master's in music composition with a concentration in the school of Arts, Media and Engineering. This interdisciplinary program offers invaluable opportunities to collaborate with professionals from many diverse fields, each bringing to the table a new perspective and thus maximizing creativity. Her main research focus is developing technologies for music therapy and music education. In time not spent on musical endeavors, she likes to bake cookies, spend time with her family, keep up with Dr. House, and visit the beach as much as possible.
